Cultural breakfast series to advise local businesses on conducting global commerce
The Meadowlands Regional Chamber’s International Business Council is presenting a series of breakfast round table events that will each focus on the cultural nuances of conducting business in a specific international market. The three markets are Taiwan, West Africa and Panama.
Each installment of the series will explore various topics including negotiations, communications, sales, marketing, distribution and manufacturing as they pertain to the market at hand. Each session will also include at least one expert in the discussion group who is knowledgeable about conducting business in that particular market.
The series is intended to generate conversation and provide a platform for sharing and disseminating knowledge of conducting business in different markets on a global scale. The discussion will consider various cultural dimensions and different modes of communication. It will provide insight and recommendations on doing business within a cultural context, while applying business case analysis and scenario planning strategies.
This cultural series is intended primarily for small and medium-sized businesses looking to expand into global markets or for those who are already seasoned experts and currently conducting business overseas. It is also intended for any professional looking to share their own knowledge and experience with other members of the community, enabling information sharing across the chamber membership base and building bridges for local partnerships.
The round table series serves as both an information resource and platform for those who do business abroad between international entities and specific communities within the Meadowlands region.
We hope you can join us for each of these engaging sessions! Visit www.meadowlands.org for more information!
