On Monday, October 30 the Meadowlands Regional Chamber and local partners Sunels International and Weiss Realty hosted a trade delegation from Guizhou, China including Secretary General Wei Qingyin from the Guizhou Federation of Industry and Commerce/Guizhou General Chamber of Commerce, to discuss potential for reciprocal business investments and opportunities. The delegation also included real estate representatives, entrepreneurs and industry representatives from Guizhou.
Jim Kirkos, president & CEO of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber, presented to the delegation on an economic overview of the Meadowlands including environmental sustainability and business, a topic of particular interest to the Guizhou delegation. Elizabeth J. Kaneko, a representative from Weiss Realty, also provided the delegation with information about real estate investment options and opportunities in the region.
Sunels International, a local consulting group that helps build bridges between China and the rest of the world, connected the Meadowlands Regional Chamber with the Guizhou delegation and helped arrange the meeting. The Meadowlands Regional Chamber, Weiss Realty and Guizhou delegates closed the meeting by agreeing to continue the conversation about fostering economic ties between the Meadowlands and Guizhou.
