PSEG CEO Ralph Izzo Keynotes Meadowlands Regional Chamber’s Annual Meeting

PSEG President & CEO Ralph Izzo keynoted the Meadowlands Regional Chamber’s Annual Meeting Luncheon on Thursday, November 9 at Glen Ridge Country Club with a presentation titled ‘New Jersey’s Energy Future.’ Izzo discussed PSEG’s efforts to increase resiliency and reliability as well its growing focus on nuclear energy in New Jersey.

Meadowlands Regional Chamber President & CEO Jim Kirkos also presented the annual ‘State of the Meadowlands’ address, highlighting key accomplishments for the Chamber and for the business climate in the region. Here are some key numbers:

  • The Chamber presented over 53 events throughout the year
  • The Chamber sold out the Bergen Business Expo for the second year in a row
  • Lunch for Love raised over $10,000 benefiting nonprofit organization members
  • The Chamber hosted its first Millennial Roundtable conference to bring in millennials and discuss education, workforce, mobility/commutation, livability and civic leadership
  • Hospitourism industry generated approximately $745 million in the Meadowlands each year, with 8 percent increase year over year
  • Meadowlands USA digital readership increased by over 30 percent from 2016
