In February 2018, Berkeley College collected bras and feminine hygiene products for women in need through a collaboration with Distributing Dignity, a New Jersey-based nonprofit that helps women in 41 cities and 12 states across the country. The College collected more than 900 feminine hygiene products, as well as bras for the organization.
“Distributing Dignity is grateful for Berkeley College’s recent collection,” said Joanie Balderstone, Co-Founder of Distributing Dignity. “The contributions will go a long way to help the women we serve and make a difference in their lives.”
The Berkeley College collection was an initiative of Berkeley Cares, which throughout the year assists charities in the critical areas of food, shelter, health and student success.
