Montclair State University Hosts Women Entrepreneur Week Events

Montclair State University’s (MSU) fifth annual Women Entrepreneurship Week Conference will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Montclair State University.

MSU also will be hosting an event featuring fashion entrepreneurs on Monday, October 15, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the university.

A day of inspiration and motivation for female founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, corporate women, millennials, students and anyone who wants to take a risk and launch a new venture. Last year, more than 400 people (mostly women) attended the conference, and the event offers some of the best networking in New Jersey!

Focus on Fashion Entrepreneurs

  • 6-8:30 p.m.
  • University Hall Conference Center, Montclair State

What does it take to succeed in the world of fashion? A panel of women who have started fashion companies will share their stories, including tips, advice, lessons learned and more. Speakers include Fabiola Arias, owner and designer at Fabiola Arias LLCSusan Hess, owner/designer of GolftiniSuuchi Ramesh, founder and CEO of Suuchi, Inc.; and Eleanor Turner, co-founder and chief creative officer of Argent. Moderator: Meg Fry, business reporter, ROI-NJ. This event is a partnership with Montclair State’s Fashion Studies and Department of Art and Design.
