A 222-unit mixed use apartment building in Hackensack, New Jersey has recently opened. The building is located near the Anderson Street Train Station, previously standing in the spot of the former Hackensack Building Department among others.
Known as The Forte, the six-story building on 95 Anderson St is the first new development to open on the street. It is lined with small businesses and restaurants, undergoing changes in recent years to add upgrades.
Three companies have already leased property within the area, including a logistics service, a restaurant with spots for people to bring laptops and a café selling coffee and bagels. The businesses offer valuable amenities to those living in or around the apartment building.
The apartments offer a variety of different set-ups, including studios, one-bedrooms, one-bedrooms with a den and two-bedroom units. Each apartment offers in-unit washers and dryers, WiFi, thermostats and fully tiled bathrooms. Rent begins at around $2,600 a month.
