The Meadowlands Racetrack recently collaborated with former New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa and the United States Marine Corps for its annual Toys for Tots collection on Saturday, Dec. 9.
For the past few weeks, customers, employees, and harness racers at the Racetrack donated toys for needy children associated with SBH Systems. The collection drive was a resounding success, with well over 400 toys donated to children in need.
Enunwa along with New York Giants edge rusher Kayvon Tibodeaux were present at SBH Systems in the Bronx this week to give out the toys to children.
Jason Settlemoir, general manager of the Meadowlands Racetrack, was ecstatic with the turnout from the toy drive.
“We were extremely pleased with this year’s Toys for Tots collection drive”, said Settlemoir. “The holiday season is all about family and helping others that are less fortunate. All of us at the Meadowlands Racetrack are thrilled that our donations help make this magical holiday season a little brighter for the area children.”
