Around the Clock Diner — “A Finer Diner” — officially opened its doors on Monday, Jan. 22 at American Dream in East Rutherford.
Michael Feinberg is at the helm as Executive Chef, bringing his experience from the R Bar in Asbury Park, and expertise learned working under Food Network Iron Chef Marc Forgione.
Jersey Diner Experience
The diner is dedicated to honoring New Jersey’s rich culinary traditions by featuring a menu showcasing local favorites. Menu highlights include Jersey Benedict with Taylor ham and tomato, Jersey disco fries, juicy burgers, and more.
Dessert offerings include house-baked donuts, including a donut sundae with two scoops of gelato over a split donut with sliced bananas, chocolate sauce and whipped cream, along with boozy donut shakes.
With its two-story clock as a focal point, Around the Clock Diner at American Dream is located in Court A, Level 3 and is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday to Thursday and extending until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Jersey Roots, Industry Expertise
Around the Clock Diner is founded and operated by the owners of the Tick Tock diner in New York City, and Clifton, and the All Day Café. The family owners have over 50 years of experience in the industry.
Aside from traditional diner fare, the eaterie also offers a global wine list, domestic and international beers, and cocktails that play on Jersey and diner history. The two-story design and large clock were designed by renowned chef James Beard and award-winning architect Richard Bloch, according to multiple media reports.
American Dream now offers over 50 dining options featuring cuisines from around the world, including Italian, Chinese, American, Peruvian and more.
