Best for Cash Back

  • Capital One Spark Cash for Business

This card offers unlimited 2% cash back on every purchase. Other perks of the Spark Cash Card are the 0% introductory APR and the ability to earn $500 cash back when you spend at least $4500 on eligible purchases within the first three months of opening your account. After the first year, the variable APR will be about 19.24%. There is also a $95 annual fee attached to the card.

  • American Express Blue Business Cash Card

Cardholders will have the ability to earn 2% cash back on the first $50,000 spent each year. After that it drops to 1%, but for business owners who don’t intend to reach or exceed that threshold the Blue Business Cash Card might be the best option. Unlike the Spark Cash Card, the Blue Business Cash Card comes with no annual fee. The variable APR ranges from 15.24%-21.24%, so those with better credit will also get a better APR with this card than Capital One’s.

Best for Travel Rewards

  • Chase Ink Business Preferred Credit Card

With an extensive reward program, travel perks are just one of the benefits of the Ink Business Preferred Card. Cardholders can earn 80,000 reward points for spending at least $5,000 within the first three months of account opening. Points are also worth 25% more when redeeming for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards. Each year cardholders earn three points per dollar on the first $150,000 spent on travel and other select business categories. Points can also be used for cash back, gift cards and other products. This card comes with a $95 annual fee and a modest 18.24%-23.24% APR.

  • Business Platinum Card from American Express

The Business Platinum Card comes with a robust $595 annual fee, however the membership benefits of this card are hard to match. For starters, new members can earn up to 75,000 rewards points. Cardholders also receive an additional 50,000 points by spending $10,000 within the first three months. On top of that, by spending an additional $10,000 on qualifying purchases within the same time period, cardholders get an extra 25,000 points.

Members also get 5 times the points when booking flights and hotels on amextravel.com. Other travel benefits include free Wi-Fi at any Boingo hotspot, reimbursement of TSA recheck fees (up to $100) and 35% of points back when booking travel through American Express. Since the Business Platinum Card is a charge card there’s no APR to worry about, but this also means the full balance must be paid at the end of each month.

Best for Sign-up Bonus

The Discover It Card could also go into the best cash back card lists, but the welcome offer attached to the card is arguably Discover’s biggest selling point. Discover matches the cashback earned after the first year, no limits or exceptions. The Discover It Card offers 1.5% cash back on every purchase, which means in the first year cardholders earn 3% cash back on every purchase during the first year. There is no annual fee with this card and variable APR ranges from 15.24% to 23.24% after the first year.

  • Wells Fargo Business Elite Card

New cardholders receive a $1,000 cash back bonus or 100,000 bonus points when signing up for the Business Elite Card Rewards Program and spending $15,000 within the first three months of opening the account. Other benefits of this card include 1.5% cash back for every dollar spent and the ability to earn 1 point for every dollar spent on top of 5,000 bonus points when your company spends $10,000 in any given month. There is no annual fee attached to the Business Elite Card and the APR is the prime rate plus 3.99%.

Best for Low Introductory/Regular APR

  • U.S. Bank Business Platinum Card

While the U.S. Bank Business Platinum card doesn’t have any flashy rewards, it does offer is 0% APR for the first year. After that the variable APR is a manageable 12.24%-20.24%. Also there is no annual fee attached to the Business Platinum Card. Without any noteworthy rewards programs, the card is best used when paying down existing high-interest credit card debt or for purchases your company’s cash flow can’t quite handle.

  • Chase Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card

Another card that offers 0% APR for the first year, however the Chase Ink Business Unlimited Card comes with additional benefits. As a sign-up bonus, Chase offers new cardholders a $500 cash bonus after they spend $3,000 within the first three months after activation. Another perk is complimentary auto rental insurance when you pay for the rental on the card. There is no activation fee with this card and the variable APR jumps to 15.49%-21.49% after the first year.

Best for no Annual Fee

The Chase Ink Business Cash Credit Card offers solid cash back rewards program, a sign-up bonus and no annual fee. The cash back program covers 5% back on office supply and telecommunications purchases (landline, internet, TV, etc.). You also get 2% cash back at gas stations and restaurants along with 1% cash back on other purchases. Chase offers 0% APR during the first year followed by a variable APR of 15.49%-21.49%.

  • Blue Business Plus Credit Card from American Express

The Blue Business Plus Credit Card also has no annual fee and a generous rewards program. American Express offers double the points on business purchases such as office supplies and dinners with clients or partners. Each year after spending $50,000 the points drop to 1 per dollar. They also offer 0% APR for the first year, afterwards the variable APR is 15.24%-21.24%
