This Monday, May 13, Big Snow at American Dream introduced its new race league to provide both new and experienced skiers and snowboarders with a fun, low-pressure racing competition. The races take place every Monday from now until July 8, lasting from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with registration taking place an hour before.
The races will be split into different categories, splitting racers up by both age and gender. The categories for racers are:
- 10 & Under (Boys & Girls combined)
- 11-16 (Boys & Girls combined)
- 17+ Adult Men
- 17+ Adult Women
The race is free to enter as long as you provide a valid ticket and each runner will be guaranteed at least one timed run. Every racer will be given a raffle ticket for a giveaway that will be run once a week. The prizes include free visits to Big Snow, a Big Snow 6 Pack Slope Access Card, a ‘24-’25 Season Pass and more.
When the race concludes in July, the top three finishers in each category will win a Big Snow gift card along with other swag. Those who finish in first place will earn their name on a plaque that will remain at Big Snow.
