Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks will share the stage at MetLife Stadium Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Friday, Aug. 8. This will be their only tri-state appearance together, part of Joel’s 2025 tour schedule that has him co-headlining with Sting (in Indianapolis, Syracuse, Charlotte, Salt Lake City, and Milwaukee) and Rod Stewart (in Pittsburgh).
Long-Awaited Return to Jersey
The Meadowlands concert marks Billy Joel’s first performance ever at MetLife Stadium (which opened in 2010) and his first time back in East Rutherford since his 2002 show at the Continental Airlines Arena and his first outdoor show in the area since rocking Giants Stadium in 1994. Stevie Nicks, meanwhile, returns to North Jersey for the first time as a solo artist since her 2012 show in Holmdel.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks to MetLife Stadium next summer,” said Ron VanDeVeen, President & CEO of MetLife Stadium. “These two music icons together promise an unforgettable night of live music.”

The Icons Behind the Music
Billy Joel, 75, is one of the most successful artists of all time, with more than 160 million records sold and a catalog of iconic hits. He wrapped up a 10-year residency at Madison Square Garden, where he played to sold-out crowds every month. The finale of his record-breaking, 104-show residency on July 25 featured special guest Axl Rose, where the two performed “Live and Let Die” and “Highway to Hell.” That show was also the 150th concert during his lifetime performed at the iconic arena.
Eight-time Grammy winner Stevie Nicks, 76, the legendary Fleetwood Mac vocalist and solo artist, remains a cultural force and continues to captivate audiences with her one-of-a-kind voice and songwriting. She’s the only woman to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice.
