Bergen New Bridge Medical Center has partnered with Vitalant to respond to the urgent need for blood within our community by hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 1:45-5 p.m. in the Auditorium.
“Blood supplies remain critically low, and we encourage our community to join our many staff members who will be donating blood during our drive,” said Bergen New Bridge President and CEO, Deborah Visconi. “Every donation saves lives, and it will take all of us working together to make sure we have sufficient supplies for those in need.”
Donors will receive an appreciation gift and light refreshments will be provided. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, eat a meal before donating, bring identification and drink plenty of water both before and after donating.
Appointments are strongly recommended and can be scheduled by calling 1.877.258.4825 or by using this link.
On the day of the drive, donors can click this link to complete a health history questionnaire to shorten their screening time at the blood drive.
