Comfort Keepers, a leading provider of trusted in-home senior care and companion care, created the National Day of Joy in 2019 because everyone could use a day to just be kind to others. The National Day of Joy is June 26 and to celebrate the company will be holding a food drive at the Stop and Shop located at Clifton Commons.
The food drive will last from 3-6 p.m. and will be conjoined with their Feed Seniors Now Food Drive. By donating, you are helping feed seniors within the community that are most in need of it.
The following items that are recommended for donations are listed below.
- Dry Pasta
- Canned Soup
- Pasta Sauce
- Canned Beans
To help spread joy in the community and feed the seniors that are in need in the area, be sure to stop by the Stop and Shop at the Clifton Commons on June 26 from 3-6 p.m. to donate to the cause.
