The nationally recognized organization Term Limit the Court has just appointed Donald Scarinci, Founding Partner of Scarinci Hollenbeck, as a member of its advisory board. In this position, Scarinci will have a direct impact on the effort to end the lifetime tenure of the justices of the Supreme Court.
The induction of Donald Scarinci into the Board of Advisors at Term Limit the Court injects the organization with longtime experience in both the legal and the political fields. Since 1985, Scarinci has served in numerous capacities, counseling such clients as the New Jersey State Assembly, the City of Union City and the Town of West New York. He also edits the award-winning periodical, the Constitutional Law Reporter, is a columnist for the New Jersey Globe, and is the author of the books David Brearley and the Making of the United States Constitution, as well as Redistricting and the Politics of Reform, published in 2005 and 2010, respectively.
Outside of the office, Scarinci has established himself as an internationally recognized authority on coins and medallic art. He currently serves on the Citizens Coinage Advisory Commission, a committee created by Congress to vet all new designs for American coinage before minting. His book on the subject, Coin of the Year: Celebrating Three Decades of the Best in Coin Design and Craftsmanship, was published in 2015.
