The Bergen County Office of Emergency Management in New Jersey confirmed a 2.4 magnitude earthquake impacted the Paramus area around 1 p.m. The earthquake was also confirmed by the United States Geological Survey (SGS).
“No reports of serious damage have been reported at this time. We will continue to monitor this situation and issue further alerts as warranted,” the county’s OEM office said.
