The Eastwick Foundation has reached a significant charitable milestone, surpassing $500,000 in donations to local food pantries and hunger-relief organizations through its Feed the Hungry program since its launch in 2014.
Eastwick College President Thomas Eastwick recently presented $50,000 in new donations to:
- Boys and Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic
- Center for Food Action
- Meadowlands YMCA
- Table to Table
- Family Promise of Bergen County
- Meals on Wheels North Jersey
- Jewish Family and Children’s Services
- The Salvation Army
- Eva’s Village
- Meals on Wheels Rockland County
These contributions brought the program’s total giving to $505,000.
Matching Docations

President Eastwick, who matches all donations made to the program, expressed gratitude for the broad support that made this achievement possible.
“I am thankful for our funding partners who generously responded to our call to action and helped us reach this important milestone,” he said.
Thanks to Local Donors
Support comes from individual donors and corporate partners, including EarthCam, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, Inserra ShopRite, Visions Federal Credit Union, and M&T Bank. Eastwick College staff and students from all four campuses also play a vital role by fundraising throughout the year.
“The impact of our Feed the Hungry program is significant and far-reaching across Northern New Jersey and Rockland County, New York,” said Eastwick Foundation Executive Director Marie Caliendo.
“With rising costs and uncertainty surrounding programs like SNAP, it is more important than ever to support the essential work of these food providers.”
Three Essential Pillars
The Eastwick Foundation changes lives by focusing on three essential pillars:
- Feed the Hungry — donations to food providers
- Eastwick Elite Scholarships — awards to high-achieving, low-income students
- Eastwick Engages — student and staff-led charitable advocacy, awareness, and fundraising
