Family Promise of Bergen County has announced that it was recently awarded a $25,001 grant from Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation, Blue Foundry Bank’s foundation for supporting philanthropic efforts, to provide life-changing services to parents and children facing housing and food insecurity.
For nearly 40 years, the Ridgewood-based non-profit has been committed to offering programs that empower families experiencing homelessness and those at-risk to achieve self-sufficiency and permanently break the cycle of poverty. The Platinum Level Grant from Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation will directly support these efforts by funding programs that provide temporary shelter, rental assistance/homeless prevention services, personalized case management, job training, financial education and coaching, and more.
