The Meadowlands won’t be as busy this week when it comes to football, as the Jets are sitting out for the bye week and it couldn’t have come at a better time for the team, after they took home their first win of the season just days ago. The Giants, on the other hand, are hoping to bring their momentum back, as they host a well-rounded San Francisco 49ers team at MetLife Stadium.
San Francisco 49ers vs. New York Giants
This Sunday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m., the Giants will be hosting the San Francisco 49ers, as they hope to use some of the underdog magic that they have had all season. Entering this game, the Giants are only slight underdogs, giving them a very good chance to win, even with some of the recent injuries that have plagued the team.
Jaxson Dart will once again be the centerpiece for the Giants’ offense, hoping to lead them to another upset victory. Dart put up another solid performance against the Eagles, recording 193 passing yards and both a passing and rushing touchdown, though it wasn’t up to par with his matchup against the Eagles. Dart will look to channel that performance in the Meadowlands this Sunday.
With some of the team’s new injuries, they will be calling on different players to set up throughout the season, as the team hunts for wins. Theo Johnson has emerged as one of Dart’s favorite targets and the tight end is on track to have an improved sophomore season. Wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson is also on pace to set career-highs after playing with the Giants since 2022. With these offensive threats and everyone else stepping up, the Giants are looking to walk out of MetLife Stadium with a win this Sunday.
New York Jets – Bye Week
The New York Jets are having their bye week this week, leaving the team with the perfect opportunity to head into their break on a high note. The Jets took down the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 39-38 this past Sunday in comeback fashion. The team looked rejuvenated, with the offense clicking in all aspects of the game.

Quarterback Justin Fields recorded over 200 yards and running back Breece Hall recorded 133 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown in a career game. The defense was able to get the stops when they were needed the most and that combination led to the first win for Aaron Glenn in his coaching career.
The Giants will head into this week hoping to gain momentum, while the Jets will bring theirs over to the next week. With just one team playing this week, there is still set to be some exciting football in the Meadowlands.
