The Meadowlands Racetrack is currently hosting its yearly Annual Toys for Tots Collection Drive in collaboration with former New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa this holiday season.
Until Saturday, Dec. 9, donations of new, unwrapped toys are being accepted. Enunwa will be present at the Racetrack on Dec. 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to talk with fans as the toys are packed up for donation. Enunwa played in the NFL for five years, from 2014 to 2019, with every one of them being played as a member of the Jets. As Enunwa spent more time in the area, he became a more involved member of the community, as this is Enunwa’s sixth year helping out with the event.
The donated gifts will be personally delivered by the NYC division of the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots. The gifts are going to to children at SBH Health System. SBH is dedicated to enhancing the community’s health, wellness, and general well-being in the Bronx. The diverse group of healthcare providers and staff members all aim to be the ideal healthcare partner by providing outstanding services and programs that can meet the needs and aspirations of our distinct and evolving community. Their core values include diversity, vision, respect, integrity, and excellence.
“This is the sixth year we have partnered with Quincy Enunwa for Toys for Tots,” said Jason M. Settlemoir, GM and COO of the Meadowlands Racetrack. “Working together to make children’s holidays special is what it is all about. We encourage our patrons to donate a new unwrapped toy this holiday season.”
