Here’s How to Listen to Murphy’s State of State Address

NJ Governor Phil Murphy will deliver his 2024 State of the State Address in the Assembly Chamber at the New Jersey State House at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.

“Six years into our journey to build a stronger and fairer New Jersey, we have made remarkable progress,” said the Governor. “But our work remains unfinished. As a new year begins, we are moving full speed ahead in securing New Jersey’s status as the best place to raise a family.”

The upcoming address marks the halfway point of Murphy’s second term as governor.

“Put simply, we are building the next New Jersey,” Murphy said in his speech last year. “A New Jersey ready to lead the way for our nation. A New Jersey with more possibilities. With more safety and more justice. … And with businesses and industries, and jobs and careers, that did not exist in our state a few short years ago. We are shaping this next New Jersey in the service of growing and securing the middle class.”

Media interested in covering the 2024 State of the State Address must RSVP by Monday, January 8, to Natalie Hamilton at Natalie.Hamilton@nj.gov. Due to limited space, one reporter, still photographer, and videographer per outlet will be permitted to attend. Only credentialed members of the media will be permitted attendance.
