Halloween-Themed Dream Asia Food Festival Returns to American Dream This Weekend

Beginning on Friday, Oct. 24, American Dream will be hosting the Dream Asia Food Fest at Lot 26. The festival will be packed with Asian cuisine, cultural experiences and fun festivities, all while being Halloween-themed for the upcoming holiday.

The event will feature over 90 food vendors, selling foods from all across Asia. From street food to fusion bites, it will include all of the best grub that Asia has to offer. In addition to the food, there will also be over 40 merch vendors, selling unique handmade items and even Halloween-themed goodies.

Anime NYC will be sponsoring an anime costume contest, which urges guests to show up dressed in their best costumes. All competitors will compete for exclusive prizes to see who has the best costume.

To honor Asian culture, there will be a variety of different live performances and music. Lion dances, a Kung Fu show, taiko drumming and K-pop dance crews are all set to perform at the festival. There will also be cultural showcases throughout the entire weekend to truly highlight all that Asia brings.

Getting into the spirit of Halloween, the festival will be offering free candy at every booth as a treat for guests. Additionally, there will be spooky photo opportunities and haunted decor throughout the event. Some activities focus on the theme, including pumpkin crafting, though there are many more to choose from, such as eating contests, bouncy houses, squid game challenges and more.

The festival runs from Friday, Oct. 24 to Sun. Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. All visitors are given the opportunity to enjoy delicious Asian cuisine, while immersing themselves deeper into its culture.
