The Dunkin’ on Meadowlands Parkway in Secaucus is among the first in New Jersey adding the global sub shop Jimmy John’s, making it easy for people to grab lunch on the go along with coffee and breakfast.

The Dunkin’ franchise is owned and operated by Tony Santarelli and Santarelli Enterprises, Inc. for over 20 years. The company signed on with the Jimmy John franchise brand last year and officially opened on Friday, May 2. The integrated co-branded retail store offers delivery, a drive through, and limited seating.

The next generation store design at 20 Meadowlands Parkway in Secaucus is the first of its kind to open in the state of New Jersey, the company said.
Newly remodeled, the 2,500-square-foot location employs 12 crew members and is open daily from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m. Digital ordering kiosks are planned in the near future.
Ribbon Cutting, Free Coffee Giveaways
The official grand opening celebration on Friday, May 2 included prizes and a photo booth, plus a ribbon cutting with the owners, Tony Santarelli Jr. and Tony Santarelli Sr., along with Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli, members of the city council, family, friends.

Representatives of the Secaucus Emergency Food Pantry were also in attendance, accepting a $3,000 donation from Santarelli Enterprises.
The celebration included a prize wheel to win Dunkin’ branded merchandise, plus giveaways for 100 Days of Free Coffee for a year, and a complimentary photo booth from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Inspire Brands, which also includes Arby’s, Sonic Drive-In and Buffalo Wild Wings, has over 33,000 restaurants in its portfolio and over $32 billion in global system sales, according to its website. It is the second-largest restaurant company in the country.
Dunkin’, founded in 1950 by Bill Rosenberg in Quincy, Massachusetts, is the largest coffee and donuts brand in the country, with more than 13,700 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets.

Jimmy John’s was founded in 1983 in the college town of Charleston, Illinois by Jimmy John Liautaud. Franchisees, who own 98% of Jimmy John’s locations.
Last year, reports indicated that Roark Capital has engaged with advisors for a potential initial public offering of Inspire Brands at a valuation of about $20 billion.
