On Friday, June 19, American Dream is hosting the New York Giants as part of its 39-day Dream Fan Fest, which celebrates the 2026 FIFA World Cup in various ways as it comes to the Meadowlands. One of the many activities held for the event is a watch party featuring members of the New York Giants, for the United States’ second game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup against Australia.
The event will also feature iHeart Media and DJ Pro Style bringing the energy for the event. The match has very high stakes for the United States who could potentially put themselves in a position to clinch a spot in the round of 32 depending on their performance. The match begins at 3 p.m., though American Dream’s event will be kicking off hours before the event, at 1 p.m., giving guests time to get hyped for the match.
The United States dominated in their opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup against Paraguay, winning 4-1. The team played at an incredibly high level, leaving many fans optimistic and eager to watch their next match. Currently boasting a win and a +3 goal differential, the United States sits atop Group D, with Australia in second place. If the United States is able to defeat Australia, while not guaranteed, the team would almost certainly be advancing to the round of 32.
The United States made it out of the group stages last year, though lost in their first knockout stage match. Now, they have the opportunity to make it further, especially with the advantages of playing in their home country.
The New York Giants play their home games at MetLife Stadium, which has lent itself to FIFA for this year’s World Cup, hosting the final match of the tournament. At American Dream, less than a mile away from the stadium, members of the New York Giants will be in attendance to cheer on the United States.
