Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey has received a $7,000 donation from the Kearny Bank Foundation.
The contribution will support one-on-one youth mentoring efforts throughout Bergen, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, and Passaic counties. Big Brothers Big Sisters is focused on aiding youngsters in navigating an array of challenges, including poverty, gang activity, substance abuse, and special needs diagnoses.
“At Kearny Bank, we’re committed to helping children enjoy brighter, more rewarding futures,” says Mairéad Togneri, Assistant Vice President / Retail Relationship Manager at Kearny Bank’s Neptune City branch, who serves as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey.
“That’s also the goal of Big Brothers Big Sisters, so we’re delighted to provide this donation to support the organization’s efforts here in New Jersey,” Togneri added.
