Lace Up Your Sneakers for Spectrum for Living’s 5K Doggie Dash

All are welcome to run, walk, or stroll and roll through Overpeck Park with (or without) your dog at Spectrum for Living’s Family 5K, Walk & Doggie Dash on Saturday, April 20.

This 5K event will be held at Overpeck Park (Ridgefield Park Area III), a USATF Certified Course. The address is 199 Challenger Road, Ridgefield Park.

Event Details

  • Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.
  • The race will kick off at 10 a.m.
  • Awards and lunch will begin at approximately 11 a.m.
  • The race will begin near the amphitheater where parking is available
  • When you enter from Challenger Road, the amphitheater/great lawn will be on your right side.
  • Dogs should be leashed, up to date on vaccines, and well-behaved toward other dogs and people.

Registration Information

Participants are encouraged to pre-register, however, day of registration will be available.

Register by April 3 to be guaranteed an event t-shirt. Early-Bird Price of $35 through April 19. Day of registration is $40.

About Spectrum for Living

The non-profit organization, Spectrum for Living, has dedicated itself to improving the life quality of those with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1978 by a group of Bergen County parents who were worried about their child being born with a similar disability, the organization has made it their number one priority to make sure that each individual is given enough support to reach their full potential.
