Due to anticipated heavy rain and strong wind on Saturday (Sept. 7), the Lucha Dwarfanators event at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford, New Jersey, has been canceled and postponed until the spring. Refunds are now being processed.
The postponed show will take place on Saturday, May 31 when the Championship Meet returns. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. family-friendly event featuring certified Lucha Libre wrestlers. Matches will happen between live harness racing.
They will show off their flying aerials, scissor kicks, wheelbarrow holds and defend their titles to become champions.
General admission tickets cost $20 in advance, $25 at the door. VIP seats with a picnic table next to the ring is $100 and includes admission for four people.
