Now that we have officially entered a new month, it means that we are in store for another busy month at the Meadowlands Racetrack. With big sporting events, such as March Madness and another UFC pay-per-view card, the FanDuel Sportsbook is also bound to have an eventful month.

Mar. 2: Comedy Night Returns to the Racetrack
Following a flurry of requests, the Meadowlands Racetrack’s Night of Comedy is back on Saturday, Mar. 2. The event is being held by Thiccbois Comedy and will feature performances from comedians such as Marcy Smiles and headliner Aaron Berg. The jokes are scheduled to start at 8 pm, however, the doors open at 7. Tickets for the event are selling fast, so be sure to get yours now at playmeadowlands.com.
Mar. 9: Celebrate International Women’s Day & Watch UFC 299
The Meadowlands Racetrack will be celebrating International Women’s Day on Mar. 9, where Jessica and Jane Otten will host the night’s broadcast. To honor the outstanding women in the world of harness racing, the broadcast will feature sizzle videos and interviews with the industry’s top drivers, trainers and grooms. There will also be a race that is set to feature an all-female field of drivers.
Also, on Mar. 9, the Racetrack is set to host a watch party for UFC 299, the fighting promotions’ last pay-per-view card before the highly anticipated UFC 300. This is not to take away from next week’s fights, however, which will see bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley defend his belt against Marlon “Chito” Vera. The card is also set to feature iconic names in the MMA world, including Dustin Poirer, Gilbert Burns and Petr Yan. Mar. 15-16: Enjoy an Irish-Themed Menu for St. Patrick’s Day
Chef Chris Burnett has created a special menu in honor of St. Patrick’s Day that features a variety of Irish favorites. Some of the Irish delicacies on the menu include potato & bacon soup, corned beef, Irish goulash pasta, Colcannon and more. There will be a non-Irish menu, though, for anyone that prefers it. Mar. 19-29: Wager & Watch March Madness at the FanDuel Sportsbook
March Madness is one of the most-watched sporting events every year, attracting 10 million viewers on average, across 63 games. If you are looking to watch the games, or even wager which college you think will win the tournament at the FanDuel Sportsbook. ‘March Mania’ will be taking place starting on Feb. 19 and will take place every day that there are games, until a champion is crowned.
