The Meadowland Chamber announced its newly elected 2021 Board of Advisors recently at its Annual Meeting. The Chamber also added two new Trustees to its affiliate, the Meadowlands Regional 2040 Foundation, Amy Herbold, VP for American Dream and Debra Tantleff, principal of Tantum Real Estate who will join the Board of Trustees.
The 2040 Foundation is the Chamber’s 501c3 economic development ‘think tank,’ established to advance programs and initiatives that will educate and envision what is necessary to achieve a strong and sustainable economy through the year 2040.
The Meadowlands Chamber’s annual meeting for the first time took place virtually and included a keynote speech by Bob Garrett, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health. Mr. Garrett provided a healthcare overview related to recovering from the COVID-19 crisis as well as insights into the growth of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, which now includes 17 acute care hospitals and hundreds of practices and other health related facilities.
Amy Herbold is currently a Vice President for American Dream, the developer and owner of the American Dream entertainment complex. Her career also includes high level positions in the Chris Christie administration as the Deputy Director at NJ Transit and Senior Counsel for the Governor’s Authorities Unit. She is currently serving on Governor Phil Murphy’s Restart and Recovery Council for Tourism and Entertainment and is a Commissioner for the Jersey City Housing Authority.
Debra Tantleff is the founding principal at Tantum Real Estate, a real estate development and advisory firm focused on creating desirable multi-family and mixed-use communities throughout North Jersey. She serves as Builder Vice President for the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) and sits on the New Jersey Committee for Regional Plan Association the Executive Committee at the Rutgers Center for Real Estate, and the Board of Directors for Downtown New Jersey. . She has been recognized as a Real Estate Influencer by ROI-NJ, a Top 40 Under 40 by both Real Estate Forum and NJBiz, and has received numerous awards from NJBA including the Distinguished Service Award for Outstanding Political Action and the Outstanding Women Award from Women Builders Council.

The 2040 Foundation is led by Fletch Creamer Jr. of J. Fletcher Creamer & Son and vice chaired by Bill Hansen of NAI James Hansen. Ms. Herbold and Ms. Tantleff will be joining fellow members: Edward Russo, CEO of Russo Development; John Saraceno, Jr. Managing Partner at Onyx Equities, LLC; Peter Unanue, COO at Goya Foods, Anthony Scardino, of Scardino & Associates Inc., former mayor and NJ Senator; Alex Klatskin of Forsgate Industrial Properties Richard Branca, CEO of Bergen Engineering; Angelo Genova, Managing Principal of Genova Burns.
