Meadowlands Racetrack is readying for Spring fun with two new live performances coming to the venue.
First up, former American Idol contestant Aaron Kelly will perform at the racetrack on March 25. Kelly is the youngest American Idol contestant to reach the top 5 of the competition.
Coming into the Meadowlands, Kelly has already performed on David Letterman, the Ellen Show, Wendy Williams, Good Morning America, along with America’s Most Talented Kids and Worldwide. Kelly has also had the honor of singing the National Anthem at the Little League World Series and in front of the President of the United States.
“We are excited to bring such a rising star to the racetrack,” stated Jason Settlemoir, COO & GM of Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment. “We know there are thousands of Idol fans in our area and we hope they all come out for an evening of great music and racing.”
Kelly’s performance starts at 8 p.m. allowing guests to experience a few of the venue’s races before enjoying the show. Meadowlands Racetrack will also be selling snacks and drinks to enjoy during Kelly’s performance. Tickets to the concert are $25.
On April 22, Meadowlands Racetrack will play host to the Martin and Lewis Tribute Show. The comedic and unpredictable duo of Tom Stevens and Tony Lewis take on the personas of the icons Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in this classic tribute show.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. allowing time to catch a few harness races before the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this event are $40 with a full bar and snack available for purchase.
