The Meadowlands Racetrack postponed its first annual Corgi Cup to Oct. 18, following inclement weather this past Saturday. Fans are able to still enjoy the races, though the race may require a bit of an extra wait now.
$1500 in prize money will be made available for entrants, with the first place winner receiving a $500 betting voucher. While it may take a bit more waiting, the Corgi Cup will be its inaugural event, marking a new tradition for entertainment at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
The race can be added to the Meadowlands Racetrack’s list of fall events. The Meadowlands Racetrack will be offering new fall dining options for guests to enjoy, including many seasonal items. Some of the featured cocktails include a Pumpkin Pie Martini and The Fall Spritz.
There is buffet dining available for each live racing night for $49.95. Each buffet features appetizers, soup, main courses, side dishes and dessert. Every week features a different menu, offering items such as Korean BBQ wings and Cajun garlic buttered salmon.
The Meadowlands Racetrack is not letting the fall weather stop the entertainment from continuing with the Corgi Run being one the premier events to set the date for. The night will feature corgi racing and harness racing, as well as fun for all who choose to attend. With the fall dining options on top of it, guests are in for a treat.
