The UFC will be hosting another featured event this weekend in Miami, but fans can enjoy the fights without having to travel that far. Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment will be hosting a watch party for UFC 314 on Saturday, April 12, beginning at 8 p.m.
The gallery, located at the Meadowlands Racetrack, offers an amazing viewing experience for those in attendance with high quality HD TVs, so no one misses any of the action. There are also betting machines for guests to use if they think they have the knowledge of which fighters will win.
The main card for the fight starts at 10 p.m. and features an array of talented mixed martial artists. The card features multiple fighters with an undefeated record, looking to maintain that 0 in the loss column. Also featured is Patricio Pitbull, a former champion at Bellator, another MMA organization, who will be making his debut with the UFC this Saturday.
In the card’s co-main event, No. 7-ranked lightweight Michael Chandler will be taking on No. 12-ranked Paddy Pimblett. Chandler joined the UFC in 2020, also as a former champion in Bellator. Since his arrival to the organization, he has fought two UFC champions and a gauntlet of other talented fighters. Pimblett has rapidly worked his way up the rankings and will face his toughest opponent yet in Chandler, hoping to keep his undefeated record in the UFC as he nears his next fight.
For the main event, the UFC vacant featherweight title will be on the line as No. 1-ranked featherweight Alexander Volkanovski takes on No. 3-ranked Diego Lopes. Volkanovski is one of the most dominant champions in UFC history, with five title defenses in a reign that lasted over four years. After former champion Ilia Topuria vacated the belt, Volkanovski will now look to win it back.
