Grammy-winning Singer Cardi B is practically a regular at American Dream Meadowlands and it makes perfect sense. Anyone living in the Greater Meadowlands Region with kids knows you will absolutely come to this lifestyle entertainment mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey to attend and/or throw a birthday party. Or some kind of milestone celebration!
American Dream is festivity central — and a celebrity zone — with famous guests in the house or branding stores and restaurants. Cardi B, Kim Kardashian, rapper Lil Uzi Vert, Whoopi Goldberg, and so many more household names have stopped by once, twice, or 10 times.

But when Mary Louise “Meryl” Streep swings by, that adds a new level of elite to the famous luminaries gracing these star-studded halls at American Dream. Jersey girl Streep — winner of three Oscars, nominated for 21 — was inducted to the New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF), which makes it home at the Meadowlands entertainment hub.
Streep stopped by the mall to film her remarks for the NJHOF’s 16th annual Induction Ceremony, which will be hosted by Danny DeVito and scheduled to broadcast on My9 in November, and premiere on social media in January.

The nonprofit NJHOF opened to the public at American Dream in June and includes state-of-the-art exhibits and interactive experiences, including a 4D flight simulator experience. The NJHOF was founded in 2005 and has honored over 230 notable individuals and groups. Before opening its permanent home at American Dream, NJHOF had popup locations at transit hubs and rest stops.
The NJHOF at American Dream is located on Court G, level 3, overlooking Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park, and across from the Oreo Cafe. Admission: $20 NJ adults; $16 NJ children, $25 for out-of-state visitors. For updates: njhalloffame.org.
