MikeWorldWide (MWW), one of the largest independent public relations firms in the country, was honored in May with a Grand Stevie from American Business Awards as well as two Sabre awards from PRvoke Media.

2025 Grand Winners Include AT&T, ThreeRings Inc., EBizCharge,MikeWorldWide, Everise, and One Step GPS.

The Stevie Awards are considered among the most prestigious business honors in the world, recognizing outstanding achievements across industries and company sizes, according to a press release from ABA.

MikeWorldWide received recognition across both agency and campaign categories, including a Gold Stevie for Company of the Year, Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations, as well as a Bronze Stevie for Public Relations Agency of the Year.

MikeWorldWide took home a Gold and a Bronze.

The agency earned the Grand Stevie on behalf of itself and clients Nikon, Red Lobster, and the 150th Kentucky Derby. Formerly known as MWW, MikeWorldWide won Grand Stevies in 2013-2016, according to a statement from the agency.

“This recognition isn’t just about awards, it’s about the power of perspective,” said Michael Kempner, Founder and CEO of MikeWorldWide. “Our team has a rare ability to anticipate what’s next and turn that foresight into culture-shaping work that drives business outcomes and proves that rigorous execution always matters.”

Winners will be honored during the American Business Awards banquet on June 10 at the Marriott Marquis in Manhattan. Ticket information is here.

The Grand Stevie Awards are best-of-competition prizes awarded to the organizations that submit the best body of work to the competition, in their own name or in the names of one or more clients. Grand Stevie Awards cannot be applied for directly.

PRovoke Media’s Sabre Awards

Earlier this month, MikeWorldWide celebrated two big wins from PRovoke Media at the 2025 North American SABRE Awards, held at Cipriani’s on 42nd Street in Manhattan. SABRE is an acronym for Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement.

PRovoke Sabre Awards

Over 50 industry leaders served as judges, breaking into panels of four to review more than 2,000 entries. Criteria considered included courage, authenticity, engagement, inclusivity, shareability, stickiness, ethics, and behavior change.

MikeWorldWide took home two of the most prestigious industry honors: a Gold for Top U.S. Agency of the Year and a Bronze for Best Midsize Agencies to Work For. These two awards recognize agencies that lead in reputation, brand engagement, and workplace culture, PRovoke Media said in a press release.

“These awards reflect the power of independent thinking, a people-first culture, and purpose-driven work,” said Kempner. “At MWW, we believe reputation is the engine behind trust, relevance, and performance – for our clients and our team.”

Award winning campaigns that contributed to the overall win count include:

150th Kentucky Derby, finalist, entertainment category. Worked with longtime client Churchill Downs to commemorate the 150th Kentucky Derby, fusing long-standing tradition with modern media to tell a powerful brand story. The race broke viewership records.

Red Lobster, finalist, issues management category. Provided strategic and rapid-response counsel during the restaurant’s critical Chapter 11 filing. A business challenge became a cultural moment, MWW said.

“These recognitions reinforce MWW’s approach which are rooted in empathy, innovation, and executional excellence — and reflect the collective strength of a team that consistently delivers strategies that matter and drive measurable growth,” the agency said in a press release.

MikeWorldWide at the Forefront

Key achievements over the past year that fueled these accolades included a seven-figure creative and media buying assignment for a major energy company, as well as wins from Mattress Firm; New Jersey health system AtlantiCare; and NFL Style.

The firm also launched Everywhere, which focuses on brands with medium sized digital budgets that may be overlooked by industry behemoths, offering social strategy, creator partnerships, agile content creation, and performance marketing, MikeWorldWide said in a statement.

Carreen Winters, president of corporate reputation, leads the firm’s corporate practice, marking 10 years of double-digit growth. MWW’s largest practice, it has a strong offer in labor relations; financial work including the largest IPO of last year, Lineage; and corporate reputation work for the WNBA.

The corporate practice has also been on the forefront of innovation, with its Linkfluence tool, using reputation and B2B influencers and “outside in” employee engagement.

AI adoption remains a top priority, the firm said, supported by a proprietary tech stack designed to manage the entire lifecycle of crisis and issues management, offering end-to-end support from early signal detection to real-time message testing and predictive analytics on story trajectory.

On the consumer side, the firm’s PRISMA engine is about “enhancing brand love through AI,” using advanced analytics to identify the emotional drivers that transform casual customers into passionate advocates.
