This collaboration brings together the legendary rock band Kansas with the world-class musicians of the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players for a one-of-a-kind performance that bridges rock and symphonic artistry.
“The performance is an example of bergenPAC’s mission to use the power of music to inspire, educate, and connect our community while nurturing the young artists who will carry that legacy forward,” bergenPAC said in a statement.
The show is Part 1 of bergenPAC’s 3-part encore series, and is the “kickoff to our season’s fundraiser celebration of music, culture, and community.”

About Kansas
The iconic American rock band Kansas has performed at bergenPAC on multiple occasions, including their 40th anniversary in 2013. The current lead singer of Kansas is Ronnie Platt, who joined the band in 2014 after Steve Walsh’s retirement. Another former lead singer, Robby Steinhardt, who also played violin, passed away in 2021.
