NAI Hanson Secures $1.48M Deal to Move Fire Equipment Supplier to Hackensack Warehouse

NAI James E. Hanson, the largest New Jersey-based full-service independent commercial real estate firm, recently closed a $1.48 million sale of an industrial building in Hackensack, New Jersey.

The 6,000-square-foot warehouse at 163 Liberty St. was purchased by New Jersey Fire Equipment, a principal supplier of fire department equipment and supplies. NAI James E. Hanson Vice President Dominic Fittizzi represented both the buyer and the seller, JWC MGT, LLC, a real estate and property holding company based in New Jersey.

The single-story property features 12-foot ceilings, a drive-in door, and six on-site parking spaces. It’s located off I-80, minutes from routes 17 and 46, and close to the George Washington Bridge.

Relocating from Ridgefield Park, New Jersey Fire Equipment has been in operation since 1930 and serves career and volunteer fire departments as well as law enforcement, EMS, industrial, and commercial customers. It’s headquartered on Route 22 in Green Brook and has an additional location in Toms River.

“Prime industrial space in central Bergen County remains in high demand, and finding a building that truly fits a business’s needs is increasingly difficult in today’s market,” said Fittizzi. “It is an honor to help a longtime New Jersey company secure an ideal new location that supports its operations and positions the business for continued growth.”
