Need July 4 Weekend Plans? Kick Up Some Fun at FIFA NYNJ Fan Fest

The Skyline to Shoreline Road Tour™ is officially rolling through New York and New Jersey following the recent One Year to Go kickoff at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, just a few miles from MetLife Stadium.

The 1,216-acre LSP is designated as the official FIFA Fan Festival site for the New York/New Jersey region during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. However, Skyline to Shoreline Road Tour™ is traveling all over the state right now.

Friday, July 4, catch fan experience action at the Fourth of July Celebration, in Elizabeth, N.J. at Veterans Memorial Waterfront Park. The event kicks off at 2 p.m. with lots of family-fun, and other activities, entertainment, food trucks, and a photo booth. The day culminates in a spectacular fireworks display at dusk.
Friday, July 5, the celebrations continue with the New York Mets in Queens, where its regular home game block parties will crank up the vibe with games, attractions, and entertainment including a DJ, appearances by Mr. & Mrs. Met, and performances by The Queens Crew. The block party starts at 1 p.m. Mets take on the Yankees at Citified at 4 p.m. Block Parties take place outside Citi Field from the Jackie Robinson Rotunda to the Left Field Gate, weather permitting. Game ticket not required.

About the Skyline to Shoreline Road Tour

The Skyline to Shoreline Road Tour™ are mobile fan zones rolling through New York and New Jersey. The FIFA World Cup 26™ buses are packed with games, giveaways, music, and more.

Think of them as bringing the World Cup energy right to your block, according to statements. “From city streets to boardwalk scenes, we’re popping up all across the region.”

The park will host a large-scale fan experience with live music, food, games, and large screens to watch all the matches, including those played at MetLife Stadium. The Fan Fest is expected to be a major hub for fans and will be open for all 39 days of the tournament.

LSP encompasses 1,212 acres. It spans 2 miles along the Hudson River and offers views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island.

The NYNJ Host Committee. MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands will host eight FIFA World Cup 26™ games, including the final.
