The New York Jets recently unveiled their ‘White-Out’ helmets, which the team will debut on Sunday, Sept. 20, in the team’s first game at MetLife Stadium for the 2026-27 NFL season. The Jets previously wore a white helmet as part of their throwback uniforms, debuting them in the 2024 season and last wearing them during their final game of the 2025 season. Now, the Jets will be putting a new spin on the helmet as the team takes on the Green Bay Packers during their home opener for the upcoming season.
The team will be sporting a white helmet with a white facemask, green decals with a white jersey and pants to match. The Jets’ new white helmet only gives the team more possibilities when choosing which uniforms to wear.
The Jets will be debuting their new helmets on Sunday, Sept. 20, against the Green Bay Packers, in one of the team’s most anticipated games of the season. Not only will it be the team’s first game at MetLife Stadium, but it will mark the return of Jets quarterback Geno Smith, who played there for the first five seasons of his career. This will be the first time since 2017 that Geno Smith will be playing at MetLife Stadium as a member of the home team.
