TD Bank celebrates National Black Business Month

Organizations like yours are the heart of our community. At TD Bank, we understand the important role diverse businesses play in our local and national economies, and we’re committed to helping them grow and overcome financial challenges through effective solutions, resources and our convenient banking model.

As a purpose-driven bank, TD is all about empowerment, opportunity and inclusivity – and we want to do more this August to recognize Black Business Month as we continue our efforts to support Black businesses all year long.  Originally founded in 2004 by historian John William Templeton and engineer Frederick E. Jordan Sr, this year marks the 17th anniversary of National Black Business Month. Black-owned businesses make up ~10% of the businesses in the US, amounting to ~2 million small businesses nationwide.  TD supports black-owned and minority businesses and the value they bring to our local communities. Check out our Small Business Spotlight, which highlights black-owned business, Lambda Vodka.

We would like to invite your membership and network to participate in our upcoming seminar entitled, Black in Business: Tools & Resources to Support Growth and Success, which will be held on August 25th from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM.  If you would like to participate, please click here to register.

Thank you and we look forward to your participation.
