The holiday season is officially in full swing here at the Meadowlands, as evident from the flurries we saw earlier this week, perhaps a glimpse of what is to come. The Meadowlands has yet another busy week ahead of them filled with events and activities to entertain both children and adults alike.
Skating in a Winter Wonderland at American Dream
On Friday, Dec. 8, American Dream will be kicking off the holiday season with a Winter Wonderland-themed skate night at the mall’s ice rink. The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and skaters will be able to enjoy the tunes of holiday classics throughout the night.
NJPAC Hosts Live Conversation with Chevy Chase Following Airing of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
NJPAC will be hosting legendary comedian Chevy Chase on Friday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. for a live conversation following a show of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Chase, along with his wife Jayni, will discuss what took place behind-the-scenes of the movie and how it was made. Ticket prices for the event range from $40 to $100, with VIP ticket holders able to take photos after the show.
BergenPAC’s A Very Bergen Holiday Set to Feature Choir, Dance Ensemble and More
After hosting the NJ Ballet’s Nutcracker last week, bergenPAC is staying in the holiday spirit as they are hosting A Very Bergen Holiday, which will consist of performances from the bergenPAC PAS choir, dance ensemble, acting troupe, faculty band with an appearance from students of “The Felician School of Exceptional Children”.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and tickets range from $50 to $100. All ticket proceeds will go to Voices in Harmony, bergenPAC’s program focused on helping special needs students immerse themselves in art, music and dance.
Meadowlands Racetrack Holds Meet and Greet With Jets Hall of Famer and UFC 296 Viewing Soon After
On Saturday, Dec. 16, the Meadowlands Racetrack will have a full slate ahead of them, as they will be hosting NFL Hall of Famer and Jets great Joe Klecko from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. where he will be meeting fans and signing autographs.
Later in the day, the racetrack will be playing the UFC 296 main event of Leon Edwards vs. Colby Covington in the 2nd floor gallery. Doors will open at 12 p.m. for college football and stay open until 11:30 p.m. Viewers interested in placing a bet on any of the fights in the card can do so at the FanDuel Sportsbook at the Meadowlands Racetrack, where they will be spoiled with dozens of televisions, food and beverage service and the ability to bet on sporting events across the world.
