The Meadowlands Chamber (MC), as part of an initiative named ‘Operation Bright Day’, has called on members to donate supplies to support the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home, which has been hit hard with COVID-19 cases.
In particular, the facility is facing a shortage of recreational supplies and has specifically requested the following: non-skid socks, puzzles, adult coloring books, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glitter, glue, large print word finder books and crossword books.
The MC has named this mission “Operation Bright Day” in hopes that the donations will make a few hundred veterans smile and enjoy brighter days during this challenging time.
