Travis Scott Announces One Night Only Show at MetLife Stadium This October

Earlier today, global superstar and rapper Travis Scott announced that in between the South American and Australian legs of his Circus Maximus Tour, he would be coming to East Rutherford on Oct. 9 for a one-night show.

His tour was a hit in North America, recording 44 sold out shows throughout 2023 and 2024, including one at Prudential Center in late December. The Newark show drew a crowd of 18,641 fans and with MetLife Stadium’s capacity sitting at over 80,000, the show is expected to be a major draw.

In a recent Instagram post announcing the show, Scott stated that MetLife was initially planned for the first leg of his tour in North America, but due to scheduling conflicts with football season taking place, it wasn’t able to be worked out. Now, Scott will finally be performing in East Rutherford, nearly a year after he kicked off his tour.

The Circus Maximus Tour promotes Scott’s 4th studio album ‘Utopia’, which came out nearly a year ago on July 28, 2023. The North American leg of the tour attracted over 686,000 fans, bringing in a staggering $95.7 million.

Scott will look to bring his last North American show of the tour out with a bang, in what will be the largest stadium he has played in by far.

Artist presale tickets for the concert go on sale on Wednesday, July 24 at 10 a.m., while they are available to the general public on Friday, July 26 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be found at ticketmaster.com.
