The Meadowlands Racetrack’s annual Beer Festival and Summer Wine Festival, two of their most popular events, are returning in 2023. The annual Beer Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, while the annual Summer Wine Festival is set for Saturday, Jun. 24.
Doors open for the beer fest at 4 p.m. for VIP and 5 p.m. for General Admission. The event runs until 9 p.m.
A VIP ticket costs $65 and comes with a variety of perks, including an additional hour of sampling, exclusive VIP beer samplings and food. General Admission tickets are available in advance for $45 or at the door for $50. Purchase tickets here.
Over 60 breweries and cideries are set to participate, with a great number of them being local New Jersey craft brewers. Some of NJ’s finest, such as 902 Brewing Company, Seven Tribesman, Alementary, NJ Beer Co., Angry Erik, Ghost Hawk, Montclair Brewery, Untied, Ross Brewing and Bolero Snort will be poured at the festival.
Every week new breweries are being confirmed to participate in the festival. The final list of breweries and the complete beer lineup will be posted on the week of May 1 at PlayMeadowlands.com.
Those attending the annual Summer Wine Festival on Saturday, June 24 can sample an evening filled with a vast selection of wines from across the world, in addition to live-harness racing, food, and music from DJ Alx.

Tickets for the Summer Wine Festival are $45 in advance and $50 at the door, while a VIP Ticket costs $65 and includes an additional hour of sampling, exclusive VIP wine samplings and food.
Over 30 wineries will be participating in the festival covering locations from across the globe, including Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Australia, California, South Africa and Oregon. At the festival, those in attendance will be sampling Sauvignon Blanc, Champagne, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Prosecco, Rosé, Sangrias, Merlot, Cabernet and many more wines.
Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment is located at 1 Racetrack Drive in East Rutherford. Guests must be 21 & older to attend/ no refunds given. Event subject to ISSUANCE OF NJ ABC permits.
