Yesterday, on April 24, WFAN’s Evan Roberts and Tiki barber hosted a NFL Draft Day live show at the Dream Bar at American Dream. The event took place from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., where the radio personality and former NY Giants running back discussed the possibilities ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.
The event offered the perfect opportunity for guests to be near the duo as they talked about the draft and also gain insights from two people that have been in or around the game for a long time. The draft was especially significant in the Meadowlands, as the Giants and Jets held the No. 3 and 7 picks respectively.
Guests could enjoy drinks while they were provided with insights from Roberts and Barber. Not long after the show ended, they could tune into the draft at 8 p.m. to see their talks come to life as players are selected.
The Giants were active in this year’s draft, taking one of the top talents in defensive end Abdul Carter with the third pick and trading up to acquire Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart with the 25th pick. Both of these players look to help the team in the future and establish them as a team to be afraid of for many years.
The Jets only had one pick in the first round, but they used it to address one of their most important needs. This being their offensive line, which has been a weak spot in their roster for years, looking to now give Justin Fields the protection needed to thrive in the league. The Jets selected offensive tackle Armand Membou to solidify their offensive line even more.
The second round of the 2025 NFL Draft begins at 7 p.m. and the Jets and Giants still have picks to make, with many talented players still on the board. There will be coverage later to see who the teams will land.
