2025 FIFA Club World Cup Team Spotlight: Inter Milan

Inter Milan was founded in 1908 and the club has been competing in Italy’s highest level of football since then. The club won its first championship in 1910 and has continued to display dominance over the years. In its history, the club has accrued 37 domestic titles, 20 of which are league titles.

The club plays at San Siro Stadium, which it shares with city rivals AC Milan. The stadium holds a capacity of 75,817, which is fitting since they are two of the country’s biggest soccer clubs. As of last year, Inter Milan currently holds the highest home game attendance in Italy, a testament to the loyalty of their fans.

Last year, Inter Milan secured their 20th league title and seem poised to do it again this year. The team currently sits at first place in the Serie A standings with a record of 21 wins, eight draws and three losses.

With all of their recent success, Inter Milan are tied for the fifth-best odds to win the tournament this summer. The squad, which is led by Argentina’s Lautaro Martinez, will look to capture its first FIFA Club World Cup trophy since winning in 2010.

Inter Milan will be playing in Group E alongside River Plate, the Urawa Red Diamonds and Monterrey. As the team looks to capture another trophy, they will have to make their final stop at MetLife Stadium, which hosts the championship game for the tournament.
