Annual Seafood Festival Returns to Meadowlands Racetrack

Seafood Fest Comes to Meadowlands Racetrack July 29

The Meadowlands Racetrack is hosting one of its biggest festivals of the year on Saturday, July 29, featuring a wide variety of seafood trucks with numerous offerings on the racetrack apron.

Lobster rolls, shrimp tacos, lobster mac-n-cheese, Poke bowls, lobster empanadas, grilled shrimp, fried clams, and fried fish are just some of the options available.

Vendors include Angry Archie’s, The Original Delicious Lola Josefa’s, DAW Concessions, Proven Poke Co, Green Dog Mobile, Latin Bites, Rods Fish N Chips, and Naya Sushi On Wheels.

The festival will include some non-seafood options as well including barbecue selections, empanadas, lemonade, sandwiches, ice cream and more.

Some of the non-seafood vendors include Magic Mike’s Smoked Meats, Freakin Empanadas, Clyde’s Homemade Ice Cream and Italian Ice, Touch of Sauce BBQ, Michael’s Backyard BBQ, Cat Like Reflexes, Antojitos de mi Tierra, Carnival Concessions, Freakin Empanadas and The Wicked Waffle Stick.

The Seafood Festival will also feature a night of live horse racing as well. Starting at 6:20 p.m., elimination harness races will take place in preparation for the Hambletonian Oaks and Hambletonian.

The Seafood Festival comes as the Racetrack looks to wrap up its summer festivities with the world-famous Hambletonian. Hambletonian Day will feature carnival rides, games, food trucks, pony rides, live music and much more. The festivities come as $3.5 million of races take place including the main event, the $1 million Hambletonian race.
