Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco said 25 pairs of FIFA World Cup tickets are available via a lottery to eligible to Bergen County first responders who live in the county: Bergen County police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel.
“As the host county for eight World Cup matches, including the Final, our first responders will play a critical role in helping keep residents, visitors, and fans safe throughout this historic event. This ticket lottery is a small way of recognizing the dedication, professionalism, and sacrifice they demonstrate every day,” Tedesco said on social media.
Eligible first responders can enter the lottery now by visiting BergenWorldCupTickets.com. The form to apply is here. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, June 24, at 4 p.m.
Tedesco thanked New Jersey Gov. Sherrill, the FIFA World Cup 2026 New York New Jersey Host Committee, Choose New Jersey, and their partners for helping make this opportunity possible.

Participation is limited to Bergen County residents who are active first responders in Bergen County. Applicants must both reside in Bergen County and be employed by, or assigned to, a first responder agency within Bergen County. Eligible first responders may enter a lottery for a chance to win a ticket by completing the online application here.
The lottery drawing will take place on Thursday, June 25. Winners will be notified directly using the contact information they provided in the sign-up form.
