BergenPAC recently announced four new shows that will be taking place throughout the rest of the year. The four shows offer a wide variety of music across many genres for guests to enjoy. The four shows are Back to the Garden 1969, Early Elton Trio, Blackberry Smoke: Rattle, Ramble and Roll Tour and Buena Vista Social Orchestra.
Back to the Garden 1969
Back to the Garden 1969 takes place on May 29 at 7 p.m., consisting of a group of musicians that have spent time recording and performing music nationally. The group brings the music of the Woodstock era to life.
Early Elton Trio
Early Elton Trio will be playing on Saturday, Jun. 21 at 8 p.m. The band is a tribute to the Elton John, Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson tours from 1970-1972. The group consists of experienced artists including Jeff Kazee of Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes, Rich Pagano of the Fab Faux and John Conte of Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.
Blackberry Smoke: Rattle, Ramble and Roll Tour
Formed in 2000, Blackberry Smoke has embodied Georgia’s rich musical legacy, honoring the sounds and people of their home state. The band’s most recent album, Be Right Here, draws inspiration from Southern rock, blues-leaning classic rock and rootsy vintage country.
Buena Vista Social Orchestra
Buena Vista Social Orchestra is led by renowned Cuban trombonist, composer, arranger and musical director Jesus “Aguaje” Ramos. The tour, which takes place on Oct. 2, is composed of members throughout the history of The Buena Vista Social Club and celebrates the group’s legacy.
