It is never too early to start celebrating the holidays. Though, they are still months away, BergenPAC just announced a plethora of shows that are set to take place during ‘the most wonderful time of the year.’ Tickets for the events are set to go on sale this Friday, July 18. From ballets to theatre performances, BergenPAC is bringing the entertainment once again this holiday season.
New Jersey Ballet’s The Nutcracker With New Jersey Symphony will be taking place on Dec. 6 & 7 at 1 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. The performance features top-level dancing and incredible special effects, all set to the tune of Tchaikovsky’s iconic performance played by the New Jersey Symphony.
On Dec. 10 at 7 p.m., iconic singer Engelbert Humperdinck will be performing a special holiday concert. The event provides a blend of his timeless hits combined with some of the holiday’s most unforgettable classics.
BergenPAC will be hosting a holiday doo-wop on Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. The performance will feature a variety of performers including Kenny Vance and the Planotones, Jimmy Gallagher and the Passions, Cleveland Still and the Dubs and La La Brooks.
The following day, on Dec. 14, there will be a performance of Charles Dickens’ iconic A Christmas Carol. The tale that has become a holiday tradition by many will return to the stage, written and directed by an award-winning theatre artist.
On Dec. 18, the Maccabeats will be performing at 7 p.m., with the group of singers entertaining audiences with their voices. The group has entertained audiences across the globe and will help to spread the holiday cheer at BergenPAC.
Darlene Love, who was dubbed by Rolling Stone as ‘one of the greatest singers of all time’, will be performing at BergenPAC on Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. Love, an inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, brings the entertainment and her captivating voice to the stage this winter.
