World Gratitude Day is celebrated annually on Sept. 21 but the Meadowlands Chamber (MC) is taking up the cause starting April 17 in conjunction with the launch of its new Nonprofit Committee.
Rather than mark the occasion with a single date, the MC’s World Gratitude Day Campaign runs April 17 through Sept. 21. The goal is recognizing and supporting the MC’s nonprofit members while also uniting the membership at large — and the greater community.
Historically, the MC brought everyone together in support of nonprofits through the annual Lunch for Love fundraiser. While Lunch for Love is paused, the spirit of giving continues with the rollout of the new Chamber’s new Nonprofit Committee and World Gratitude Day Campaign.
How Can You Help?
As an inaugural donor, this is a unique opportunity to be part of something from the beginning. This is the time when reflection and gratitude make up the foundation that will ultimately showcase the where, when, and how one organization gives to another.
Reflect and appreciate, commit and showcase. All Chamber members are invited to make donations marked for the Nonprofit Committee. In exchange for donations, members will receive digital Gratitude Medallions:
