Karim Bennis has just been appointed the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Delta Dental of New Jersey.

Bennis comes to Delta Dental with an accomplished career as a healthcare executive already under his belt, during which he has repeatedly proven himself more than capable of producing game-changing results for numerous organizations.

Prior to Delta Dental, Bennis served as EVP, Chief Operating Officer at Avesis, a dental and vision insurance provider, where he ran the day-to-day operations while leading a comprehensive transformation program to create a one-stop shop of supplemental benefits. Bennis also led efforts in his time at Walmart to develop Walmart Health into a transformative “supercenter of healthcare” providing access to affordable and quality care at scale. In his previous role at Monitor Deloitte, he developed and executed large-scale enterprise transformations, strategy development, merger integration, and operational improvement engagement for both large and mid-size healthcare clients.
Bennis received his MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management, and his Master of Public Administration at Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He also holds a Master of Applied Finance from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris, France.
